Diamond - BAKERY
Since we launched our business in 2010, bakery has always been at our core. Having run a chain of award winning bakeries in the UK, baking was something we knew we could do well and we were determined to fill a gap in the market, offering high quality, authentic British style baked goods. Our continued growth in all areas of our business is down to our commitment to producing the highest quality baked goods available to the market. To be continually voted as the best in this category means so much to us and our team of over 30 bakers.
Diamond - Specialty Food Store
This is another category that makes us immensely proud to win. Burlington is home to a wealth of incredible specialty food stores, from different cultures to health foods and so much more. Since we opened our doors four years ago, we have won Diamond every single year. We have always focussed on what we do and how we can be better. We are the only British store in Ontario that imports 100% of the product on it's shelves and this is why our prices and selection are unmatched in our industry.
Diamond - Frozen Food Store
In the last 18 months we have really ramped up our frozen food imports. From Warburtons to Quorn our selection is improving all the time and our stock runs deep. You can always count on us having the product that you come in for. While other importers are discontinuing frozen imports due to rising costs, we are expanding. Make sure you keep an eye on our freezers over the next few months for even more never seen before in Canada products!
Diamond - Family Business
We are a family business. While we are always expanding, we remain independently owned and all of us wear multiple hats to ensure everything is perfect for you. Our family extends to our staff, many of whom have been with us since the start and without them, what we have achieved would not have been possible. This award is more personal than the rest and we appreciate that the family business aspect shines through.
Diamond - Overall Service
Our customer service has always been incredibly important to us. We want you to want to come in to our shops and to have little chats with us, catch up, to see our smiles and to see you smiling back. Our customer services is constantly praised via Google reviews and is another award that we're very proud to regularly win.
Diamond - Independent Grocery Store
To be voted as Burlington's best Independent Grocery Store is a testament to the sheer volume of products available at British Pride Bakery. We have Canada's largest range of British style baked goods, all baked fresh 7 days a week. We have an expanding range of butchery items, made in-house using Crawford's famous recipes. Our imported grocery range runs 1500+ products deep, from chocolates to pantry items, jams to tea bags and all in between. We carry British breads and cheeses, a wide variety of drinks, fish and frozen foods. This is a category in which we compete with huge companies backed by national corporations and while we may be a small fish in a big pond, the support we receive from our local community and loyal customers is remarkable!
