Everything you’d think to ask

We have nine shops across Ontario. You’ll find us in Barrie, Cambridge, London, Mississauga, Newmarket, Oshawa, Ottawa, Stittsville and Windsor. Each one carries our full bakery and butchery counters alongside our imported-grocery range.

We do — and it’s the heart of what we are. Our bakers are in before dawn making bread, pies, sausage rolls and pastries fresh, while our butchers make our sausages and cure our specialties on-site. Nothing arrives frozen from somewhere far off; it’s made properly, by hand, close to home.

Plenty of the things that are hard to find on this side of the water. We make Scottish haggis (a savoury, peppery classic of oats and seasoned meats), black pudding, and square (Lorne) sausage for a proper breakfast, along with Lincolnshire sausage (fragrant with sage) and Cumberland (coarse and well-peppered, often coiled). From the bakery counter you’ll also find pork pies, sausage rolls and pasties.

Everything for it, yes. Between the counters you can build the whole plate — square sliced sausage, black pudding, back bacon, our own bangers and a warm bap to hold it all. Add a tin of beans and a good cup of tea from the grocery shelves and you’re set.

Our bakery and butchery are made fresh to be enjoyed in-store, so those we don’t ship — they’re best collected from one of our nine Ontario shops. Absolutely — it’s one of our favourite times of year. Come Burns Night we make our haggis in good supply, but it’s a popular one, so we’d always suggest ordering ahead to be sure of yours. Have a word at the counter or get in touch and we’ll reserve it for you.

We do, and Christmas is our busiest season by far. For pies, gammon, sausages, mince pies and the trimmings of a British Christmas, place your order early so we can have everything ready for you. Speak to your local shop or drop us a line to book it in.
